We are delighted to have Ms. Vivien Tan Hui Yui, the Head of Group SME & Commercial Credit, MFRS 9 and Data Intelligence in Alliance Bank, as the mentor and panellist of Hurdle’s Resolution in MBSS 2023!!!

Ms. Vivien Tan started her career in the financial industry at HSBC Bank in 2006. Her diverse knowledge and experience in "risk" led her to her current role at Alliance Bank. She has been in this position since 2022 and is in charge of overseeing all credit risks undertaken in the SME and commercial perimeter.

She spent six successful years in her role as a Product Specialist, even clinching the title of "Regional Sales Champion of the Year" in 2009. Her role included portfolio management of middle market-size corporate customers; covering financial analysis, credit lending assessment, factory visits, and relationship management. Thereafter, she sought a job in a different field altogether, which brought her to Sanofi Malaysia.
